SOUTHERN STATES MANAGEMENT GROUP – STAFFING CHANGES & NEW HIRES

Southern States Management Group, Inc., (SSMG) has been serving Volusia and Flagler County communities for over three decades through, “lifestyle management.” The SSMG Leadership team has been able to attract and retain employees through continued training, investments in technology and their internal commitment to create a collaborative culture that invites a “family first” approach. SSMG is proud to announce the following staffing changes and additions.

Ms. Michelle Fitzwater joined SSMG as the Palm Coast Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. Michelle is originally a, “Flagler County Gal” and joined the team with a vast amount of administrative/executive support and customer service experience from a variety of industries.

Mr. Joshua Maser very quickly got into the industry groove and after being with the company for a short period, is now a Licensed Community Association Manager. Josh works in SSMG’s Daytona Beach Office and manages a small portfolio of Volusia County clients. In his prior life, Josh was a self-employed entrepreneur and worked for a Daytona Beach packing company before changing careers.

Ms. Penny Chamberlain is also a new employee and Licensed Community Association Manager with more than 20 years industry experience. Penny will be managing a portfolio of clients in SSMG’s Palm Coast Office.

Ms. Nicole Bernard is the most recent hire as of November 2021 and filled the Operations/Administrative Support Specialist position at the Front Desk in the Pelican Bay Office in Daytona. Nicole is a Daytona Beach native and brings a great deal of administrative and customer service experience in several different industries to Southern States.

Additionally, Ms. Stephanie Hull quickly passed her test for her State of Florida Community Association Manager’s License after being an integral part of the administrative team for years. She was extremely valuable in her administrative position at the Front Desk at the Pelican Bay Office in Daytona Beach but made the transition to an available manager’s position with a portfolio of community association clients. Stephanie continues to be a valuable member of the team and always contributes and participates for the betterment of Southern States.
