VOLUSIA & FLAGLER COUNTY, FL (November 22, 2021) – 25 overflowing baskets are being delivered this week to multiple outreach programs in Volusia and Flagler County from an internal competition by the Daytona and Palm Coast offices of Southern States Management. Since mid-October, Community Association Managers (CAM) and administrative support teams have been seeking monetary and food donations for families in the area who may not have had a Thanksgiving dinner. “Not only did we reach our goal, but we had two pick-up trucks that were overflowing with extra food that we took to Family Life Center this past Friday, November 19, exclaimed Char Khatib, Lead CAM at Southern States. Over a dozen employees participated in this giving opportunity and the Daytona office located at 1190 Pelican Bay Drive in Daytona won this friendly competition of collecting the most food. “Stephanie Hull, one of our CAM’s, was creative in her collections by asking the communities that she manages to bring food to their meetings and Joy Randolph, another CAM, raised the most money that was graciously matched by an anonymous donor,” Char continued. “It was a great way to work together for those who may not be having such a good year!” Between the two offices dozens of locals will have food on their tables this Thanksgiving!
